Saline Home Builders Association The Saline Home Builders Association is currently taking applications for the Jamie Lynn Gabbard Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to a qualified student each year. The scholarship is awarded to a student who is pursuing a degree in a construction-related industry or trade. The scholarship is for $3,000 per year payable at the rate of $1,500 per semester and is renewable each year provided the student maintains a 2.50-grade point average on a minimum of twelve semester hours at an accredited college, university, or junior college, trade or vocational school or other educational organization. The scholarship recipient will be chosen based on the following criteria: Graduate of high school in Saline County, Arkansas; financial need; proven leadership ability; good moral character; minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average; ACT score of 18 or above or equivalent SAT score. The Bauxite Class of 1965 has established a scholarship to be awarded to a Bauxite High school graduating senior who desires to further his or her education by enrolling in an approved vocational, technical, or career education college or institute instead of a traditional four year college or university. All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. The recipient must enroll as a full time student in an on campus program designed for completion in two years or less. This scholarship may not be used for programs serving as stepping stones for entrance into conventional four year education institutions. One scholarship will be awarded each school year and will be funded at the rate of $500 per semester. Funding may be continued at the same rate for a total of four semesters, provided that the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA and remains in good standing with their selected institution. This scholarship is to be awarded based on the student's desire, ability, financial need and ties to the community. The application deadline is April 15th. The application is a paper copy that can be found in the main hallway by the trophy case.

Every year, the Arkansas Association of Pupil Transportation (AAPT) awards a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior. One of the qualifications for this scholarship is the applicant must have had a family member involved in the pupil transportation industry. In order to qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

Make sure you have listed a family member involved in school transportation and what district they worked for. 3. Make sure to attach a transcript to your application. 4. The Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s (HHF) 2022 Youth Awards educational grants program is now accepting applications! Our 24th Annual Youth Awards will award students who are in the graduating Class of 2023 with up to $4000 in educational grants to fund their higher education or to fund a community-based project.
Recipients will be selected for their accomplishments in the classroom, community, and for their excellence in various educational categories. Recipients will be celebrated at virtual ceremonies in the following categories:

Arkansas Society of the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century Scholarship gives one $500.00 state scholarship to a high school senior from Arkansas. The scholarship is judged and awarded without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability. The State Scholarship is paid directly to the winning student's chosen college or university.
